While there are many generic nutrition programs and diet templates found online, the major underlying issue with this approach to dieting is the “one size fits all” mentality. There are so many factors apart from age, height and weight that need to be accounted for when creating a diet prescription. A successful nutrition program must be 100% personalized.
I use a macro-based based approach-meaning you will be expected to weigh and measure the foods you eat and log them into a food tracking application called My Fitness Pal. You will record daily feedback regarding sleep quality, stress levels, performance in the gym, recovery and soreness, energy levels, and hunger. We will also be keeping track of your digestion, menstrual cycle, and hormone health.
After going through an extensive background check on your dietary history, hormonal profile, food and exercise preferences, etc., I will create a customized macronutrient prescription. This will include daily protein, fat, and carbohydrate intake. You will also receive suggestions regarding food timing, hydration, supplementation, and foods to incorporate into your diet.
Education and communication are a major focus, therefore we will communicate on a weekly basis via email or phone call to track your progress.
