My interest in jump rope started with Jump Rope for Heart at age 11 and progressed to the competitive skipping team Brampton Acro Ropers. I competed at the provincial, national, and international level, where I represented Team Canada in the 2006 and 2008 world jump rope competitions. I’m a two-time Canadian National Champion, and set a Canadian National Record in 2008 for consecutive triple unders with a score of 171. I competed until the age of 18, when I began studying Kinesiology at Western University. Since then, I have remained involved in jump rope through the sport of CrossFit. My goal is to apply my knowledge and skill of the double under and help CrossFit athletes learn the mechanics of how to perform this movement properly.
